"Tierra de Castilla" Wines

  • Vintage: 2007.
  • Colour: Intense cherry red with good depth.
  • Aroma: Berries, cassis, coffee, pipe tobacco, smoke, cedar. Chalk and pencil tip when it unfolds.
  • Palate: Light attack that swells. Black fruit, new cask. Final tannin, rounded.
  • Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Merlot.
  • Aged for 12 months in a french oak cask.
  • Vintage: 2008.
  • Colour: Cherry red with violet rim edges.
  • Aroma: Intense red fruit, somewhere between plum and blackberry, light milky touch.
  • Palate: Tasty predominance of fruit, without an edge but with character. Pleasant aftertaste.
  • Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Petit Verdot and Tempranillo.
  • Aged for 4 months in a french oak cask.

Awards Dehesa de los Llanos

Dehesa de Los Llanos is an estate with 10.000 ha of land where all the ingredients necessary to feed the Manchega sheep that produce the milk that is the fundamental ingredient of Dehesa de Los Llanos artisan Manchego cheese are produced. A gourmet cheese, achieved with a careful elaboration and maturing process where technology manages to combine the characteristics of artisan cheese - taste, aroma, texture, nutrition - with the rigorous procedures that guarantee quality and healthyness.

At Dehesa de Los Llanos we have reserved our finest 50 ha for vineyards, where we cultivate the varieties of Mediterranean grapes that adapt the best to the terrain: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Graciano in red wines and Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo in white wines. With the world's best experts on vine-growing and oenology we make Mazacruz Tinto, Mazacruz Blanco and the best of our wines, Mazacruz Cima.
