Red-legged Partridge
The Red-legged Partridge (Alectoris Rufa) which is identified by its slightly reddish light brown back, grey breast and pinkish-buff on the belly, breeds in south western Europe and particularly in the region of Castile-La Mancha where for centuries it has been an emblematic game bird. In Dehesa de Los Llanos the partridge is born and bred in the countryside, giving it the morphology of a true wild autoctonous partridge, strong and savoury.
The marinated partridge by Dehesa de Los Llanos comes exclusively from the estate and has been hunted, plucked and then X-rayed to locate and extract the pellets.
The marinade is made with the traditional recipe whose ingredients include vinegar, olive oil, garlic, pepper and bay leaf. Each tin of marinated partridge by Dehesa de Los Llanos includes a whole partridge that will allow you to enjoy a great culinary experience.
Culinary tip: Consume on a bed of lettuce, placing the boned partridge on the same and use the marinade as the only seasoning.
